SAILFISH SAFARI ππ Approximate Schedule: β’ 6:00 AM β Hotel Pickup β’ 7:00 AM β Arrival at the port and light breakfast β’ 7:40 AM β Departure by boat towards the Yucatan Channel β’ 9:00 AM β Start of the marine safari and snorkeling β’ 12:00 PM β We begin the return trip β’ 1:00 PM β Fresh ceviche and drinks near the beach β’ 1:45 PM β We set sail for Cancun β’ 2:00 PM β Arrival at the port β’ 3:00 PM β Return to your hotel The experience begins early with a pick-up in Cancun and transfer to the port to enjoy a light breakfast before setting sail for the Yucatan Channel. As we move away from the coast, the ocean begins to unfold. We follow the movement of birds, currents, and surface activity to find areas where marine life naturally congregates. Upon arriving at the sighting area, the snorkeling safari begins. For approximately three and a half hours, we navigate and enter the water under the supervision of our guides to observe the fauna that the Caribbean allows us to encounter that day. Depending on conditions, there is a possibility of swimming near sailfish, dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, and various species that follow schools of sardines in the open sea. The entire experience takes place in open water, where the behavior of the birds, the currents, and the movement of the bait dictate the rhythm of our navigation. Each outing is different, and nature decides how the day unfolds. After our time in the open sea, we find a quiet area near the beach to relax, share our interpretations of what we observed, and enjoy fresh, seasonal ceviche with cold drinks before beginning our return to Cancun. The final activity will be returning to your hotels.
