Before departing, the guide shares a brief introduction to the ecosystem we will be visiting and best practices for enjoying the reef with the least possible impact. During the excursion, we'll do two dives in different sections of the reef, selected according to sea conditions and visibility. Along the way, you can observe a great diversity of tropical fish, corals, sea turtles, rays, and, with a bit of luck, nurse sharks resting among the coral formations. Each dive allows you to discover the biological richness of one of the most important marine ecosystems in the Mexican Caribbean. Upon returning to the port, there will be time to use the showers and restrooms before beginning an interpretive tour of the main kiosk in Puerto Morelos. More than just a stroll through town, this activity aims to help you understand the relationship between the community and the reef, as well as the importance of conserving this ecosystem for future generations.
